Common High School Parent Questions:

How can my son earn an athletic letter in Cross Country?

There are two ways that you can earn your letter. If an athlete places within the top sixteen spots on the team for five of the meets they earn their varsity letter. Most cross-country invitationals only allow eight runners to compete on the varsity team.  Because our teams on average are composed of seventy-five student athletes we recognize our top sixteen runners as getting credit for running varsity. Seniors who have been in good standing with the team for at lest three years may be awarded their varsity letter too. Coaches reserve the right to make exceptions to the policy because of injuries or because of other situations that may arise.
